Brian and Becky Eastling
Program Director
My Background

Brian was raised in a Christian home and heard the Gospel taught both in the home and at church. On the night before his eighth birthday while getting ready for bed his mother again shared the Gospel message with him and he accepted Christ as Savior. Since that time, his understanding of what it means to be “saved” has continued to grow, but the basic understanding and faith was there even at that young age. The Bible reminds us in Ephesians 2:8 that it is faith that is required for salvation, not total understanding. Brian’s Jr. High and High School years were significant in his Christian walk. It was during these years that he first felt that God was calling him to full-time ministry. He had several men who worked with him during these years as youth leaders and mentors that really challenged him to dedicate his life to Christ and to pursue full-time ministry.

Becky was also raised in a Christian home and was saved at a young age of 5 at Vacation Bible School being held at the church she attended. When she was 14 years old, she served with several others from her church as a summer missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship. The training was held at Camp Good News in North Webster, IN. At the end of the training, she went forward and rededicated her life to Christ.

Brian and Becky met the summer of 1994 while both serving on summer staff at Camp Good News in northern Indiana. After completing college, they were married and served for three years as volunteer youth leaders at Brian’s home church. In 1998 they were asked to come and serve full-time with Child Evangelism Fellowship at Camp Good News, Indiana where they had met. The Eastlings served as missionaries with CEF from 1998 to 2008 when they began their current missions assignment with Camp Oak Hills in Bemidji, Minnesota.
