Food & Nutrition

Our kitchen staff is committed to providing healthy, kid-friendly food that our campers and staff will truly enjoy! Some camp favorites are taco salad, chicken-tenders, breakfast burritos, slow-cooked pulled pork sandwiches and homemade pizza. A full salad bar and deli bar is offered several times per week!

We try our best to accommodate for special dietary restrictions and have been successful in providing gluten free and dairy free options for most meals. If we are not able to accommodate, we invite you to bring your own food and we will provide storage, refrigeration and access to a microwave. For any further or more specific questions regarding special dietary needs, please give us a call.

Summer Food Program

Camp participates in the USDA summer food program which means that we are reimbursed for meals served to low income campers. Similar to school lunches, campers are required to take certain food items served in order for the meal to qualify for reimbursement. Also, in order identify how many campers for overnight camps (does not apply to day camps) the camp will be reimbursed for; we need parents to help by filling out the USDA Household Income Statement if their camper does not attend the following school districts: Bemidji, Laporte, Bagley, or Cass Lake. Participation in the program is optional, but it is a great help financially to the camp.
