Our Counselors are college age students with a love for God and a passion for working with children and youth.  Counselors are responsible for supervising a cabin of 8-10 campers. 
Counselors may also have the opportunity to help lead in some of the program activities during camp.  
All counseling staff are required to attend two weeks of training prior to camp. 

Positions include:
Boy's Counselors
Girl's Counselors
Program Staff/Support Staff
Whether it's planning games and activities, supervising the waterfront or washing dishes our program and support staff go out of their way to make sure the campers' time at Camp Oak Hills is great. These high school and college age students help keep the camp fun and enjoyable for the campers.  
Program/Support Staff members are required to attend two weeks of training prior to camp.

Hand Crafts Director
Lifeguard
Program Specialist
Office Manager
Media Specialist (Computer/Audio-Visual) 
Maintenance Assistant
Cook
Kitchen Assistant
Are you looking for an exciting ministry opportunity?  At Camp Oak Hills, one person can make a big impact in the lives of campers. Below are some of the summer ministry positions we have available.

Our Leadership Staff are college age students with previous camp experience and demonstrated leadership ability. Leadership Staff members are given supervisory roles.  
All Leadership Staff are required to attend three weeks of training prior to camp.

Head Boy's Counselor
Head Girl's Counselor
Activities Director
SOS Team Leader
Head Lifeguard
Jr. Staff
Jr. Staff members are high school age students who volunteer part of their summer at Camp Oak Hills. These students may help as Jr. Counselors paired with college age Counselors in the cabins, or as SOS (Searving Others Selflessly) team members.  The SOS team helps in a variety of ways around camp including: housekeeping, dishroom, maintenance and programming.
Jr. Staff members are required to attend 2 days of training prior to camp.
