Dear Friends,

I have an exciting opportunity to cook at a Bible camp in Bemidji this summer. With 38 years of restaurant, catering, and supervising experience plus I’ve volunteered with children and youth ministry for 35 years, it might be said that I have passion for this kind of thing. Currently I work in the kitchen at the University of Northwestern in Roseville MN during the school year, which allows me the summer off, this provides a unique opportunity to serve from June to August at Camp Oak Hills. I am eager for the opportunity to cook for and work with students.                 

This amazing opportunity to serve as a missionary at Camp Oak Hills will start on June 1st with an intensive two-week training period. Then, I will serve for 10 weeks investing in the lives of campers as the Food Service Director. Some of my duties as the Food Service Director, will include head cook, menu planning, order the food and supervising the kitchen.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity.

To enable camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible, I am required to raise funds to provide for the staff salary portion of the camp ministry expenses.

My support goal is to raise $4,500.00 by August 1st.
