Our Approach to Ministry

Our Purpose   is to use the Word of God to develop and equip life-long followers of Jesus through a quality Christian camp that is operated by a loving, trained, and service-driven staff. God’s Word teaches that we are separated from God because of sin and in need of a Savior. God met this need through His Son, Jesus Christ. He made it possible for each of us to have a relationship with Him through faith in Jesus as a personal Savior (John 3:16). The camp’s purpose is to present Jesus Christ as the answer to mankind’s greatest need.

Definition of Camp Ministry
Christian camping uses a temporary community in an outdoor setting with trained leaders to meet spiritual objectives. It has proven to be one of the most powerful tools contributing to the spiritual growth and development of young people, adults, families, and churches.


Camping Programs

•Day Camps - A five day introduction to camp for K-4 grade

•Overnight Camps - A six day residential camps for 3-12 grade

•Native American Camps – Camp experiences specifically designed for Native American youth


Leadership Training Programs

• Summer Staff Ministry – 10 week commitment for youth 16 and older

• Junior Staff Ministry – 1-4 week commitment for youth 14 to 18


Year-round Programs

•Youth Retreats - Weekend retreats for youth to connect with God

•Adult Retreats - Weekend opportunities for rest and spiritual renewal

•Journey Club - Monthly children's Bible club for kids to grow in their walk with God


Future Year-round Programs

• Family Camps - Weekend and weeklong opportunities for families to connect with each other and God

• Outdoor Education – Creation based nature classes for public and parochial schools

• Team Building – Using low and high ropes to develop communication skills and trust

• Wilderness Trips – Week-long wilderness excursions
