The Camp Oak Hills Missionary Staff are year-round staff members and the senior leadership of the camp. They are individuals and families who believe God has called them specifically to camp ministry. Missionary staff each have a team of individuals, families, and churches who have committed to providing financial support for their salary and prayer support for their ministry.

Brian Eastling - Program Director
My wife Becky and I have served as full-time camp staff at three different camps since 1998. We joined the staff at Camp Oak Hills in 2008. As the program director, I hire and train the summer staff and oversee the summer youth camp program.

Stephen Helweg - Facilities Director
From a young age, I have been involved in many types of Christian ministries. It was through these opportunities that I met my wife Rylie, who was also involved in the same ministries. I have also always enjoyed working with my hands. God combined these two passions in the role of Facility Director. I oversee the maintenance and improvement of camp’s 32 buildings so that the facility can be used by God to change lives. I also love leading our junior staff volunteers in their work projects and building relationships with our campers and guests.

Sierra Simonson - Guest Services Director
I spent my summers from ages 14 to 19 at camp, and I’ve made many new friends, seen many kids and staff come to know God in new and different ways, and I have grown in my relationship with God. My first year of camp, I met my now-husband, David.
As the Guest Services Director, I will be booking guest groups, cleaning and preparing the facilities for groups, managing the camp store and overseeing the summer camp store manager, managing the office and overseeing the summer office manager, helping parents sign their children up for camp and going over registration papers.

Sarah Tener - Discipleship Director
I grew up learning about the Bible and the Gospel message from many people in my church and at home. I have been involved in various children's ministries since Jr. High, and have come to the realization that the most lasting thing I could do for children work with was to introduce them to Jesus. I have since participated evangelism and discipleship training and learned to teach others to share the Gospel with children and disciple them as well. As the Discipleship Director, I will be developing a follow-up program for campers who made a profession of a decision in their walk with God during camp, as well as be assisting the Program Director in ongoing recruiting and mentoring of the summer staff throughout out the fall, winter, and spring.
