Dear Friends & Family,
This year has been busy, and a ton of stuff has been going on. Since I took a year off after graduating, I got a job at the Sanford pharmacy which has been fun, and I've been learning a lot. I also have been able to lead a Sunday school class of pre-k and kindergarten aged kids, which has been so much fun and cool. I have also decided to go to college this fall at Oak Hills Christian College majoring in Camp Ministry, which will be a new and interesting adventure. I'm excited to see what will happen. Now it's time for this next adventure: working at camp for the summer for the 4th year in a row.
This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve as a summer missionary at Camp Oak Hills. My summer will start in late May with an intensive three-week training period. Then, I will serve for 6 weeks investing in the lives of campers as the Activities Director. I will be leading games and activities; I will also be the master of time at camp and be the loudest MC ever.
The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. My position will involve a combination of a paid salary and raised support. This enables the camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible. My goal is to raise $1,500 by August 1st.
Would you please consider making a financial gift towards this goal? In addition, would you commit to praying for me regularly during this summer as I share the Good News and love of Jesus with campers?
