Dear Friends and Family,

I have just finished college and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Ministry through Oak Hills Christian College. This summer I have decided to work for my third year in a row at Camp Oak Hills. Then at the end of July, I will be going to Master’s Seminary to get my M. Div and to finish my training there.

This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve as a summer missionary at Camp Oak Hills. My summer has already started at the end of May with an intensive three-week training period. Then, I will serve for 5 weeks investing in the lives of campers as the Head Guys’ Counselor. In this position, my main priority will be to encourage and support the male counseling staff as they witness to their campers this summer.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. My position will involve a combination of a paid salary and raised support. This enables the camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible. My support goal is to raise $1,000 by August 1^st. 

First and foremost, I would ask that you lay aside some time in the day to pray for me this summer as there is a lot of physical, spiritual, and mental energy being put into what I do. In addition, would you commit to praying for me as I share the Good News and love of Jesus with campers? Finally, would you please consider making a financial gift towards this goal?
