Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Rachel Eastling. I am going to be a junior at Oak Hills Christian College starting this fall. I am studying for a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry and focusing on Worship Arts, including planning and leading worship services. This will be my 8th summer working at Camp Oak Hills, and I am excited to return for the whole summer as counseling staff! I am prayerfully preparing as I wait to pour God’s love into many kids this summer.

This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve as a summer missionary at Camp Oak Hills. My summer will start in early June with an intensive two-week training period. Then, I will serve for 6 weeks investing in the lives of campers as a cabin counselor. I’ll be working alongside a fellow staff member in overseeing 8-10 kids each week. I’ll help the girls throughout the day and get to know them, as well as lead them in cabin Bible devotionals each night.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. My position will involve a combination of a paid salary and raised support. This enables the camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible. My support goal is to raise $3,000 by August 1^st.
