Dear Friends and Family,

Hello, my name is Rachel. Instead of going to college this last year, I took two online classes and have earned a Veterinarian Assistant Certificate. I am excited to get back into gear for camp! This will be my sixth year working on staff. This year I am excited to be a part of the leadership staff. I get to lead activities, games, songs before meals, and so much more! I love art, especially drawing, and music as well. I love working with kids and seeing their imagination run wild. I am so thankful to be able to watch as kids grow up. Some of the kids I worked with my first summer are now going into middle school. It’s crazy how time flies but it is beautiful to see how God has been working in their lives over the years. This fall, I plan to attend Oak Hills Christian College and begin working towards a Camp Ministry degree. I hope to learn more about what it takes to run a camp and continue to grow in my faith as well.

My summer will start in late May with an intensive three-week training period. Then, I will serve for 7 weeks investing in the lives of campers as the Activities Director.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. To enable camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible, I am required to raise funds to provide for the staff salary portion of the camp ministry expenses. My support goal is to raise $3,000 by August 1^st.
