Dear Friends & Family,

I have just graduated High School and have applied to work at Camp Oak Hills for the summer. For the past two years, I have served as an assistant counselor while also helping with a selected skills class. This year I will be a lead counselor, and will also be taking photos occasionally! I’m excited to see how God will move in my life this summer and continue working in the lives of both past and future campers. I’d also love to thank everyone who’s supported me this far.

My summer started in early June with an intensive two-week training period. Now, I will serve for 6 weeks investing in the lives of campers and staff as a counselor. I will be leading a cabin of 8-10 girls along with an assistant counselor each week. My tasks generally entail conducting cabin devotionals, building relationships with campers, and helping campers learn and grow in their relationship with God.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. My position will involve a combination of a paid salary and raised support. This enables the camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible. My support goal is to raise $2,000 by August 1st.
