Dear Friends & Family,

This summer has been super busy but also a lot of fun. The camp season is just ending, and I’ve learned a lot, not only about God, but about myself as well. A big reason I come to work here is because of the learning opportunities; each summer I choose to spend here, camp has never failed to help me get a grip on my emotions and maturity. This place has taught me things I could not learn anywhere else, and I am very thankful for this community. I am thankful I was able to finish my summer here and learn more about God and lead others to a relationship with Him.

This summer I have had an amazing opportunity to serve as a summer missionary at Camp Oak Hills. My summer started in early June with an intensive training period. I have served for 6 weeks investing in the lives of campers as a co-counselor and shooting sports instructor.

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. I decided last-minute to serve at camp this summer, so I was unable to complete this letter ahead of time, but I wanted to invite you to partner with me in this missions opportunity to raise support for my summer salary. My position involves a combination of a paid salary and raised support. This enables the camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible. My support goal is to raise $2,000 by August 15^th.

Would you please consider making a financial gift towards this goal? In addition, would you commit to praying for me regularly as I start up school again and work to deepen my relationship with Christ?
