Dear Friends & Family,

Hello! My name is Hope Schmidt. I am 17 (turning 18 in July) and live on a farm in Minnesota. I am a senior in high school, and I hope to do some PSEO this fall. I LOVE camp and am excited to work for my 4th year at Camp Oak Hills. ;)

This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve as a summer missionary at Camp Oak Hills as a girl’s cabin counselor. My summer will start in early June with an intensive two-week training period. Then, God willing, I will serve for 6 weeks investing in the lives of campers. This is my 4th summer at camp. In the past I’ve spent 1 year on Jr. Staff (S.O.S) and 2 years on Program Staff. I am VERY excited for the summer!

The focus of my letter is to ask you to partner with me in this ministry opportunity. The most important thing I need this summer is prayer, so I would appreciate your prayer partnership as I work with fellow staff and share the love of Jesus with campers from various backgrounds this summer.

To enable camp to remain financially accessible to as many campers as possible, my position will involve a combination of a paid salary and raised support. My support goal is to raise $3,500 by August 1^st. God is GREAT, and He will provide.
